Fleury writes about the Anzac parade at school

Last Friday we had an Anzac parade at school. We made a poppy and it was on my shirt. The poppy was red. We went on the field to look at the white crosses.

Twaritha writes about Ice Cricket

Ice cricket is played in Estonia on a frozen lake. In ice cricket they use a red plastic ball so they can see it in the snow. For ice cricket they wear warm clothes and spiky shoes for running on the ice and snow. In ice cricket there are 6 to 10 people in a team. An interesting fact about ice cricket is that the wicket is carved out of the frozen lake ice.

Mina wrote about Blind Cricket

Blind cricket is played in Australia, NZ, the UK, India and Pakistan. In blind cricket they use a large white ball with bells in it so that the batter knows that the ball is coming. They wear the team cricket uniform. There are eleven people that are in the team. An interesting fact is they bowl underarm and there is only one batter at a time.

Haikal writes about Beach Cricket

Beach cricket is played on a beach. You can use any ball you want. You can wear other shirts and have any number in your team that you want. Many people like to play beach cricket just for fun.

International Food Festival 2015

Last Friday evening we enjoyed the company of our school and local community at our fantastic International Food Festival. Many different International foods were available, and we were entertained by cultural performances, including our own Junior syndicate folk dances. Everyone agreed that the event was most successful. We would like to thank all those whose time and effort contributed to its success.
